LUNA Shares Her Dark Side in "My Blues" Music Video

Australian singer LUNA just released her music video for "My Blues" off her upcoming debut album, "BAD."  In "My Blues," LUNA gives listeners a taste for just how honest, open, and vulnerable she can be – touching on heavy experiences of severe depression, mental illness, suicide contemplation, and feelings of isolation.

"I just want my fans to know who is behind the face, that I'm not perfect and I have experienced all of these things – and if I can make it out of it happy and healthy, they can too," LUNA said.

The creation process started with a simple beat LUNA made at home along with a few chords on her piano. "It was very dark before it was a club track, but slowing it down at first really helped me write the lyrics. The hook refers to all the doctors I saw about health problems and the fact I wasn't really helped and just offered pills and anti-depressants as a quick fix to take away 'my blues.' I decided not to take any in the end and heal myself naturally, but the song is about contemplating taking them," LUNA said.

With dangerously bold and fierce artistry, LUNA emotes uncensored passion as she explores the topics of abuse, depression and control throughout her debut record “BAD,” expected late February.
