Mak 9 is an underground East St. Louis, Illinois-based indie trap artist who tells us the stories straight up, through his lens of life which has seen many things he would rather forget. Mak 9 is influenced by artists such as Kevin Gates, Da Baby, 2Pac, Lil Baby, Drake, Jelly Roll, Eminem, and Migos, but it’s clear that he is carving his own path musically and we believe that his creativity on the mic and great ear for production will take him a long way in the music game.

As Mak 9 bravely climbs out of his home hell to make that much-anticipated bread so he can feed the team, he takes us into his shell-filled world with the clip-packed new sturdy single “The Worst of the Worst”, produced by Jacob Wilmsmeyer.

“The Worst of the Worst”, which appears on Mak 9’s album “The Worst”, is that true story about having the bravery to stick through the tough times. With his tight crew and money-hungry attitude, he has a made a track that is totally raw and with a real heavy style. He brings that hardcore rap to our eyes – and shows us that he is indeed ready for any obstacles – which may come his way in this crazy world.

Along with the track, Mak 9 brings us the Vickmont Films directed music video, which showcases him, his crew and some very DOPE cars. The visual is the perfect accompaniment of the song, and definitely brings what you hear to life.
