Our selection for DOPEST Video of the Week, “FOCUSED”, comes from Atlanta based hip-hop and RnB artist Lilly Whyte. “FOCUSED” is a song about determination and Lilly Whyte channels her own persistence on the track, which is a perfect summer anthem for workouts, long drives and night outs.
In her own words about the video, Lilly says,
“The official music video for “Focused” is lit! Shot by The Zoo aka @zuto_filmz on Instagram. Big thanks to everyone who came out to be a part of this. Risa, my girl, did an amazing job playing the bad guy or should I say “bad girl”. For those of you who don’t know, the video was themed after one of my favorite films “Kill Bill”. One of my favorite photographers also came out to play a part in this as well along with my friend Hollywood. The video was actually filmed in Hollywood’s warehouse, he has a nice set up there. I am very impressed with how well the video turned out and I’m so excited to continue working and sharing new videos with you guys. I’m doing everything I can to make sure my music videos aren’t the same ole boring music videos you see everyday. Hopefully you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed creating this masterpiece of mine.
