LK’s love for hip-hop started at a very young age, around 7-8 years old. He had many inspirations, but his biggest was Nas. Fast forward to ages 14-15, LK started to write down his own rhymes and his main focus was just to tell stories in creative ways, something Nas is well known for. He purchased many composition books to write down his rhymes. Fast forward to the age of 19, LK, now involved heavily with his home church, accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior at an “Acquire The Fire” event. Christianity, wordplay, substance, creativity, and transparency is now a huge part of LK’s writing process. His main goal is to share his life, struggles, experiences, and offer encouragement and motivation.
Thanks to his gift in music, LK has toured to over 20 states and over 80 cities sharing his gift in front of hundreds at each show. It was this tour where LK started to grow in character and music, after the tour he knew even more that he wanted to reach people all over the world using his gift in music. His goal is to impact the culture in a positive way while growing in God and pushing himself to become a better artist.
