Gud Cyrus (pronounced 'Good') is an up and coming recording artist from the Toronto area (Mississauga) who has been making music for a couple of years with the help of his older brother, multi-platinum rap producer Bijan Amir.

His inspiration for sound comes from mainstream acts like Travis Scott, Drake, Young Thug, and the Weeknd, and emerging acts such as Sean Leon, Killy, and Roy Woods. Cyrus writes all lyrics and melodies himself and stays true to his own personal experiences with his tracks. He often covers themes such as girls and relationships, goals and aspirations, and his emotions, all while using infectious flows and melodies over top notch production.

All of the aforementioned attributes are evident in Cyrus’s DOPE new release “The Summer”, which is produced by ARTY111. In his own words about the track, Cyrus says,“The Summer is a very personal song, about the struggles Cyrus faced in his first real relationship. "This is a song inspired by the struggles I've faced while navigating through my first relationship. The lyrics hint at the mistakes I've made while forming a relationship with my first love, and the hook poses the deep question of whether or not we will 'make it through the summer'. This song is very personal to me, and releasing this song was a struggle and almost cost me my relationship. However, I know that good music has to be raw and created from real emotions."
