Monstercat Celebrates the Most Active NFT Auction in Nifty Gateway’s History

Leading independent electronic record label Monstercat has announced its second official NFT drop on May 19th has earned $160,000 (USD) on the primary market via Nifty Gateway. Now recognized as the best-selling music brand/label in the NFT community, Monstercat also celebrates its ODYSSEY ranked auction as the most active auction in Nifty Gateway’s history. Starting at 4pm PST, the auction saw bidders increasing their offers every five minutes or less over the course of six hours. Some of the largest NFT creators participated including 3LAU and fvckrender, with the highest bid reaching $6,000.
Across the three Monstercat collections featuring artwork from renowned comic artist José Delbo, music from Grammy-winning producer RAC, and unique vinyl records with each purchase, the ODYSSEY packs drew over $88,000 while the ODYSSEY auction brought in $70,000. Additionally, the IKON pack with 1,000 NFTs at $0.50 each, sold out in less than 15 seconds. The pack was only available to previous Monstercat NFT-holders, which gave fans an unprecedented opportunity to return to the digital collectibles space and engage with the community.
