Emerging from touring with Conan Gray, WizTheMC, and Zeph, log cabin-born but Jersey-bred Mistine has just released her debut project. “FADE” tells the story of five meaningful connections experienced throughout one chaotic year. This record will take listeners through a full spectrum of emotions that will have them blasting the songs in their car with the windows down, crying with their friends about a past relationship, and dancing all night long while screaming the lyrics in their bedrooms.

Mistine narrates the beauty of different relationships and explores the intangible feelings that can exist between two people. From a romantic summer fling based down the Jersey Shore to a moonlit midnight club anthem, this record encapsulates nostalgic story-based pop. This EP was made to listen to while you’re driving in your car, right before sunset when the sky is just turning orange, with the windows down, and your hair is flowing in the breeze. Timeless nostalgia. Through high energy guitar guitars, glistening synths, and conversational vocals, this record will without a doubt be playing in your head all year long.

Mistine wrote and produced this EP mostly over FaceTime from various locations around NJ and LA with her old college roomate and new producer friend from the UK. This release is available on all streaming platforms, followed by a music video for the title track, new merch line, and an acoustic version of the entire record, all released before the end of summer. Are you ready to fade into the record?

LA Based Americana Singer-Songwriter Loren Cole Releases Debut LP "For The Sake Of Being Honest"

Los Angeles-based Americana singer-songwriter Loren Cole has released her debut LP “For The Sake Of Being Honest”

Los Angeles-based Americana singer-songwriter Loren Cole has released her debut LP For The Sake Of Being Honest. Cole saw favorable coverage leading up to the release, from a range of outlets like PopMatters, Wide Open Country, No Depression, and more, with PopMatters ultimately comparing Cole's sound to the likes of Brandi Carlile and Lucy Rose.

If there is one thing you can learn from Loren Cole, it’s to question everything. The singer-songwriter came of age in the digital world, but even she finds the whole social media landscape a bit exhausting. Her debut album, For the Sake of Being Honest, serves as a reminder that what matters most is what is happening right here, right now. She’s only 22, but her mind is sharp and her songwriting is sharper. She’s shared stages with the likes of Jewel, The Accidentals, Mike Mains, Joe Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers and many others. This is only the beginning of a very promising career.

For the Sake of Being Honest is soaked in beautifully faded confessionals, songs that are reminiscent of contemporaries such as Pheobe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Tift Merritt; delicate folk-driven songs about what human existence means. “I had a photo shoot a while back," Cole says, "and the photographer asked me to come up with three words to describe me and my music. I said: nostalgic, curious, and warm. A lot of the record is searching, asking for honesty from people.”

The album was produced by Henry Was, son of the pioneering musician, producer and record exec Don Was (The Rolling Stones, John Mayer, Stevie Nicks) out of his Santa Monica studio. Cole unearthed many songs she’d been sitting with for a while. Some were written during her college years, but still others found their way out of her angsty teenage days. There's a certain innocence that seeps out of her work, a magical, twilight glow that makes her songs universal and appealing.
