Raslock is a Hanover, Germany based rapper whom we are very excited to introduce to the DCWS audience. Raslock began his musical journey as a creator when he was 14 years old rapping and singing about important topics like colonization and slavery.
Fast forward some years and this talented emcee has just released his Mohjay da Producer produced debut single, “Unity”, as well as its official music video. This DOPE clip was directed by Kevlexicon, and shot on location in NYC after Raslock traveled to Chicago to visit his father for the first time.
Through “Unity”, Raslock wants to expose the evil works of the system, and is a wake up call to every human being living in an environment of political and religious oppression. “Unity” will be featured on Raslock's upcoming album "Journey to Unity" due out early next year. In his own words, Raslock says the album “represents the forming (journey) of Unity through consciousness awakening and introduces African spirituality and institutional racism in an honest and authentic way”.
