It’s always a pleasure to showcase great music that comes from our home state of North Carolina, and now is no different. We’ve got a new music video for the song “I Think the World is on Fire”, by Four Oaks, NC based trio HeartMouth, which is, as they put it, “inspired by current events & sings the struggle that most people are facing today — being separated from those they love”.

HeartMouth is composed of Casey Allen (lead vocalist), Harrison Beam (bassist), and Tyler Danielsa (lead guitarist), and are a melting pot of the organic elements of folk, paired with modern elements of synth pop, with roots buried in rock to create a fresh new approach to the pop/alternative genre.

The band’s visual for “I Think the World is on Fire” is simple, yet profound, with cuts of Casey, Harrison and Tyler in between scenes of emotion stirring moments of tragedy like 9/11, a nuclear bomb being detonated, an immense building fire, and serene scenes in nature. HeartMouth found the perfect way to visualize their “I Think the World is on Fire” song, as well as to invoke reflection by the viewer.

If you are a fan of acts like One Republic, Dermont Kennedy, or Coldplay, then you are in for a musical treat.
