Tele & The Ghost of Our Lord is the pseudonym of songwriter, multi-instrumentalist producer, engineer and visual artist Matt Kamm. With a long history in sonic exploration, Tele has dabbled in psychedelic pop, garage rock, folk & country, as well as electronic music. An explorer at heart, Tele attributes his audio landscapes to itches that need to be scratched and prefers to follow breadcrumb trails to find new discoveries in sound and blaze his own path. Typically recording, performing and mixing all the work himself, he has amassed a large collection of synthesizers, drum machines as well as traditional bluegrass instruments that he incorporates into his work. Known to be somewhat of a wildcard, his latest release “Spite The Moon” is his most traditional work to date with just a hint of psychedelia in the mix.

“Spite The Moon” b/w “Fast Asleep On The Forest Floor” is a dive into the heyday of Americana and country with Tele’s ever-so-slightly off-kilter perspective. It was recorded in a fever with all instrumentation tracked in under 24 hours and nods to a simpler time in country music production showcasing Kamm's crooning baritone vocal.
