Taija New Shares the Music Video For Her Latest Single "Couture"

Springfield, Mass based rhythmic pop entertainer Taija New, a.k.a. the Newbian King, is an exciting artist that we are stoked to introduce to you right now.
She is fresh off the release of her new single 'Couture', a nod to 90's Hip-Hop as well as the mixtape era, and is currently completing her fourth project and gearing up for her third tour. Speaking about the “Couture” song, Taija New says,
“Being a 90s baby, “Couture” was the song that I always wanted to write and record. As soon as I heard the beat that was produced by NY Bangers, I could not stop my pen from writing; I knew exactly where I was going with the feel for this one. "Couture" was engineered by the incredibly skilled and talented, Angelo Quaglia, whose Grammy nominated work has been heard on artists projects such as Joe, Busta Rhymes, 702 and Deborah Cox”.
Along with the song, Taija New has released the very DOPE accompanying music video, directed by herself and John Hill of Noir Films. It’s clearly evident is this clip that CV will not get in Taija New’s way when it comes to her artistry and the growth of her music brand. Regarding the visual, she notes,
“As an artist, festival season is the time you prepare for year-round; it’s the time you perform the most. Just before Coivd-19 I was beginning to gain traction and have the opportunity to headline at more and more festivals. Because of COVID-19, this has changed the very fabric of live performance. I wanted to capture the essence of what my life as an artist was like before the pandemic and what it is like now with live virtual performances as well as being quarantined. I hope whoever watches the "Couture" video can feel what I'm saying rather than just see it. The entire song is about the feeling and vibe it gives you all while bringing across an important message, "I don't compete to you better not sleep, or you might lose me!" I wanted the ladies to feel the power in their worth”.
