Residing in Troy, Ohio, the lovely and talented Ozzie D is releasing a collection of holiday singles spreading pure Christmas cheer—and she can’t wait for all to hear it! Ozzie D. has lived with ASD, previously referred to as Asperger’s syndrome her entire life, not knowing she had the condition, which was diagnosed only 15 years ago. She has never let that stop her from shining her bright, ebullient light on the world. Her first poem, at age 12 entitled “Salt & Pepper” was chosen to be included in a children’s poetry book compilation by an unknown author, and she has been creating works ever since. As an adult, she’s found her calling in writing children’s books. An accomplished author, she has written The Adventures of Frog Man which currently consists of 44 stories and 81 more titles to go in the series, as well as The World of Fuzzwald & Friends. Not only does she create her illustrations for the book series, but her characters leap off the page as real-life dolls inspired by the characters that she makes too! Ozzie believes her creativity knows no bounds because it is her gift to the world to spread unconditional love and joy through her art, and what better gift than spreading the joy of Christmas?
This train of thought hit her like the Polar Express while doing a book signing that inspired the idea for “Christmas Hustle”. This doo-woppy, upbeat sonic vibration comes to life in this debut visual, unveiling Ozzie’s talent as a gifted singer-songwriter. Her lyrics evoke a warm, fuzzy feeling as she describes the joy of ripping brightly colored paper off of presents under the tree and reminiscing on old memories with family. At the same time, her laid-back, resonant voice creates an atmosphere of holiday fun and frolic. This is reflected in the chorus where Ozzie encourages the listener to get up and do the “Christmas Hustle”, let their hair down, and shake their “groove thang!”. Both the video and the lyrics paint a picture of the perfect Christmas Day that will have viewers wanting to twirl around the tree with family and friends all holiday season long. If running to the market to buy evergreen-scented candles and putting cookies and milk out for “Jingle Man” on Christmas Eve is your holiday tradition, then you need to watch this lyric video, get on a makeshift dance floor, and let it all hang out.
Do they listen to Rock & Roll blues at the North Pole? Ozzie certainly makes a convincing argument with “Jingle Man,” a delicious toe-tapping ode to the man who “makes you feel good inside”. Packed with infectious rhythms and spirited melodies, it’s the perfect track for Ozzie to show off her vocal prowess, sliding her voice up and down with ease, delivering a one-of-a-kind treat for the ears, unlike any other Christmas tunes. Rather than evoke a sense of snowy serenity, “Jingle Man” is bursting with uncontainable energy—calling upon audiences to swing and shimmy in honor of the bearded one. Adding to the song’s charm is its accompanying lyric video, honing in on the imagery Christmas-lovers have come to adore. Cookies and milk, lists checked twice, and twinkling lights fill the screen, perfectly complementing the song’s swingin’ groove. Together, the track and video deliver a fresh, dynamic spin on holiday cheer, making “Jingle Man” a soon-to-be perennial seasonal favorite.
“Sleigh Stacked Full” soothes the mind like a warm cup of hot cocoa topped with marshmallows and sprinkled with cinnamon. Naturally, Christmas celebrates being together with family and loved ones—spreading joy, warmth, and holiday cheer. But what makes Christmas an extra special holiday? The presents, of course! This festive lyric video showcases everyone’s favorite gift-giver on Christmas—"Jingle Man!" In Ozzie’s winter wonderland, everyone is treated to “gifts galore” to share with all. Backed by groovy electric guitars and an easygoing beat, Ozzie’s talents as a writer for children truly shine on this track. Her lyricism and vocals are classic and comforting, sure to delight Christmas lovers of all ages. This cozy, cheerful anthem will stir up nostalgia deep within the soul, reminding one of warm nights tucked under mountains of blankets anxiously waiting for Jingle Man to shimmy down their chimney. Ozzie says it best, “What could be more fun?”

Betty Beata Shares Her Clip for "My Favourite Time Of The Year"
The music video for “My Favourite Time Of The Year” features Beata regaling as the queen of Christmas in a winter wonderland, interspersed with heartwarming teasers from the film. Hit play to melt the heart of any cold Scrooge or settle into some seasonal glee with your Santa baby.
We all know that butterflies result from metamorphosis—a grueling process that transforms a humble creature into one of nature's most precious creations—but what does that process look like for an artist?
Just ask Betty Beata (rhymes with "Miata"). Born in Hungary to a family of musically-inclined Romani gypsies, Betty quickly took up lead vocals in performances of her culture's beautiful and technically sophisticated folk songs. By age twelve, she'd mastered the classics of bossa nova legend Antonio Carlos Jobim and recorded a selection of his hits. She then launched a house music and jazz project under the moniker Delilah, releasing albums that featured songs with her husband, Berklee-trained smooth jazz maestro Dave Sereny, and Jim Peterik of "Eye of the Tiger" fame.
Putting the butterflies to shame, she's spreading her wings and fluttering hearts with yet another iteration of her genius. The name Betty Beata pays tribute to both her birth name (Beata) and the anglicization of it (Betty), perfectly representing her journey and the range of genres she's conquered along the way.
The more, the merrier— it's true for holiday party guests and catalogues of carols. We believe Betty Beata's gift of a song, "My Favourite Time Of The Year," will be an instant holiday hit. Produced by her life-and-music partner Dave Sereny, Beata's lush voice captivates us in an atmosphere as warm and inviting as a fireside. Sereny's production echoes recognizable holiday hues—hushed bells sprinkling over jazzy and charming chords—while elevating the typical tones with scintillating synths that whirr with enchantment behind sultry ornamental background vocals.
We're not the only ones hailing it as an instant classic; Beata's hit will be featured in the BET film A Miracle Before Christmas, airing later this month. The music video for “My Favourite Time Of The Year” features Beata regaling as the queen of Christmas in a winter wonderland, interspersed with heartwarming teasers from the film. Hit play to melt the heart of any cold Scrooge or settle into some seasonal glee with your Santa baby. And get used to Betty Beata being the soundtrack to all the seasons of your life.

The Tribe Band Share the Visual for Their Rendition of "This Christmas"
It's a good cause that prompted The Tribe to re-cut "This Christmas," but it's great music that animates the session. The video for the track takes the viewer inside this recording studio and shows us a remarkable meeting of talented artists working in unison on behalf of a worthwhile charity.
At this time of the year, the thoughts of music fans turn to those great charity records cut in the 1980s that gathered dozens of stars in a single recording studio. We loved them for the camaraderie, the concentration of talent, and the participants' willingness to check their egos at the door and collaborate. Why don't they make singles like those anymore?, you might ask. Well, they do. The Los Angeles studio wizards behind The Tribe Band are practiced hands at group tributes and they've overseen a thunderous holiday session that includes contributions by some of the defining voices of the last forty years of popular music — including the irrepressible Kenny Loggins, the electrifying Melissa Manchester, the soulful Lamont Dozier, Jr., the effortlessly winning Richard Marx, and the incomparable Michael McDonald.
They've joined their golden voices with those of Freda Payne, Ken Stacey, Frank McComb, Florence LaRue, Terrell Edwards, and many others on The Tribe's rendition of "This Christmas," the 1970 seasonal ballad by the late Donny Hathaway. Alas, Hathaway didn't live to see his composition become a Christmas standard: his death in 1979 robbed popular music of one of its guiding spirits. But we can be pretty certain that he'd appreciate the passion, commitment, and sheer musical precision that The Tribe and their associates bring to their version of his song, produced and arranged by Ken Stacey — which was one of the first Christmas records to be written and recorded by an African-American artist. One by one, these celebrated singers step to the microphone and deliver their lines with absolute conviction and immense soul, paying tribute to Hathaway's vision with every note. Appropriately, The Tribe is contributing all proceeds from the sales of "This Christmas" to the Donny Hathaway Legacy Project, a nonprofit dedicated to providing mental health resources to those who desperately need them.
It's a good cause that prompted The Tribe to re-cut "This Christmas," but it's great music that animates the session. The video for the track takes the viewer inside this recording studio and shows us a remarkable meeting of talented artists working in unison on behalf of a worthwhile charity. Is this the holiday spirit in action? Certainly. But these singers and instrumentalists truly enjoy playing together, hanging out, and inhabiting a classic song by one of the undisputed kings of soul — and this warm, engaging clip makes that manifest. It's a thrill to see so many famous faces; it's even more wonderful to see those faces light up with such joy.
Conner Eko Releases His Holiday Pop Single/Video "Christmas Morning Goodbye"
Vallejo, CA based artist @theconnereko returns with his brand new single “Christmas Morning Goodbye”, an indie pop song about how saying goodbye to a loved one can be extremely challenging, but can also be a good thing (a "gift"). Watch its Anson Tan directed visual now!
Vallejo, CA based artist Conner Eko returns to DCWS with his brand new single “Christmas Morning Goodbye”, an indie pop song about how saying goodbye to a loved one can be extremely challenging, but can also be a good thing (a "gift"), by allowing parties involved to open up new doors and "close the one with all their problems".
Eko never intended to write a Christmas song, but one morning in the fall of 2021, he woke early and went straight to his piano and the song basically wrote itself. Being against the idea of making it sound like a holiday song, the song was produced under Eko’s direction to not sound like one, and to release and produce it just like any other song so that it would represent the next stage in his development as an artist.
Eko decided to release this song as his sophomore release because of its powerful message of saying goodbye to a loved one and the fact that a lot of people experience heartbreak and sadness during the holiday season and may want a change versus hearing the same overly joyful corporate products of the holidays.
Eko feels the song could be interpreted many ways, but personally sees it being about a complete breakup between lovers, or them just moving past and healing from deep unclosed wounds. It is about personal and interpersonal forgiveness and the solace that can come from being honest and real about the fact that things are never perfect and that is okay, if we are brave to omit our own faults, and confront them and each other with an open heart. Although extremely challenging, this act can allow parties involved to open up new doors and close the one with all their problems ("a gift")."
Psychological studies have shown that typical Christmas music, their overly joyful nature, and their excessive play during the holidays can actually cause more mental health harm than good for many. “Christmas Morning Goodbye” is about being real to our problems and pain, it represents the next stage in Eko developing his sound, and it gives a different message that most are not accustomed to hearing, especially during the holidays. The holidays are not perfect for most people and there is solace about being real and honest.
Along with this incredible holiday song, Eko is unveiling its Anson Tan directed music video, which we know you will love. Watch the visual for “Christmas Morning Goodbye” now, stream it on your preferred music service and connect with Conner Eko on his website and social media.
