Sydney Based Warwick Smith Release the Clip For Their Single "Vertigo"
/Fresh on the DCWS scene is Warwick Smith, an Australia musical duo based in Sydney, and formed in 2020. The band consists of lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist (who the duo was named after) Warwick Smith and supporting musician and drummer Luke El-Sabbagh.
The duo recently released the song “Vertigo”, their first single since October 2020, breaking away from their previous album cycle and slowly teasing and setting up their next album yet to be announced but highly speculated. The corresponding music video, directed by Joshua Frost (virtually over a Discord video call while he was working in Atlanta) shows a brief final shot of the band's drumkit being changed and alluding to the next era. It's also the first song to feature Luke (drummer) as a writer and performer as Warwick (frontman) had previously written and programmed drums himself.
We’re blown away by Warwick and Luke’s artistic creativity for the song, and their collaboration with Joshua Frost for the music video. Watch the incredible “Vertigo” clip now, stream the song on Spotify and connect with Warwick Smith on their website and social media. Also, hang close to DCWS because our exclusive Q&A with Warwick and Luke is coming soon.
