Stimulus Releases the Cosmonaut Series Influenced Visual to His Synth-Heavy Banger "Django"

“Brooklyn Raps and Berlin Beats Gloriously Unite” – was the title of Highsnobiety’s article on Stimulus’ 2018 release with Black Fryar on Live From Earth. A month earlier, Stimulus delivered an intriguing and entertaining TEDx talk on Hip-Hop and world culture a few steps away from Brandenburger Tor. A few months before that, he debuted the first song from his new EP “SOON” on Sway In The Morning – the biggest morning Hip-Hop show in America.

The latest single from the "SOON" EP - "Django" - is a synth-heavy trip through relationships in the digital age. The video is inspired by painter Jeremy Geddes’ hyperrealistic Cosmonaut series. Like the subject’s in Geddes’ paintings, Stimulus wanders through monochromatic environments as a heart-broken and abandoned person unable to escape his vulnerability.
