St. Louis Rock Artist Dezert Rocket Shares His Single/Video "Shocktane"

Dezert Rocket is a St. Louis based rock singer-songwriter whose recently released alternative rock/heavy pop song, “Shocktane”, was self written, performed and produced. We’re excited to share this great tune with you below, as well as his accompanying music video, which was brought to life by a small group of up and coming independent film makers in St. Louis.

Speaking about the visual, Dezert Rocket says “The Shocktane music video conveys this message in a semi-metaphorical sense in that the lead character, who has been controlled and manipulated via mental programming through his television (and possibly many other forms), discovers an incredible new medicinal substance that is supposed to create a whole new level of euphoria. But, when this elixir is combined with the subliminal programming manipulating him, it creates a superminion. One side effect though, is that it can create total insanity.”
