Snøw Faces His Issues Head on in His New Lo-Fi Single/Video "Another Lie"

Salem artist Snøw masters the art of tough love towards himself in new single “Another Lie” out now via Amuse. Co-produced with Skinny Atlas, the slow-burning piece is weaved with lambent guitar chords and smooth, humming vocals that are attuned to his desire to accept his inner battles and weakness rather than masquerading them. “I don’t wanna speak another lie no / Tell me aren’t you tired of lying saying you fine huh?” he chants. Hopscotching between frustration and hope, the track exudes a laidback moodiness where Snøw prosaically breaks the self-saboteuristic pattern of denying one’s own reality. With “Another Lie”, he channels his yearning to be closer to the truth while also acknowledging the burdens that come with it.
On his latest single, Snøw explains: “This song is about accepting that you're in a bad place and just letting it out and facing your issues head on.”
“Another Lie” is the follow up of his latest single “Blaming Me For Us”, which was featured on Billboard where they called him “lo-fi savant”. Both tracks are previews of his upcoming project that will be arriving in early 2022. From his Platinum hit ‘Get You To The Moon’ ft. Kina to being crowned as “lo-fi king” by Zane Lowe, the 21-year-old continues to pave his way in the lo-fi arena and beyond with ballads that serve as a haven for his listeners to muse, chill, and groove.
For Snøw, music has served as a conduit to dissect poignant topics of heartbreak, toxicity, addiction, and vulnerability. “For as long as I can remember music was my outlet, like it is for many artists. I started writing music in middle school as a way to pass time. In high school, however, I really decided to begin branding myself as Snøw,” he shares. No matter what themes he is taking his audience through, he exercises unfiltered honesty and self-awareness that have helped him cultivate a profound connection with his fans. “I just love to make music to cope with my issues. I want people to relate and I want people to know I’m human and down to earth.”
