Akron, OH based artist and producer Missingno. adapted his name from a "glitch" in the original Pokémon game, which is interpreted as "missing number." Missingno.'s music heavily incorporates game-like sounds that are reminiscent of many classic Nintendo games such as Super Mario Bros., Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog, and many others.

Missingno. has just released the music video for his song “Mood”, which is a featured track on his most recent project “808-Bit Music”. Missingno. describes the 9-track “808-Bit Music” album as a “blend of Electronic, Pop, and, R&B with classic Nintendo samples and video game sounds”.

The “Mood” track itself can be described as a self-produced Electronic/R&B style song that flips a 90's Pokémon sample over an 808-driven beat. The lyrics are admittedly edgy but it's generally just a song about wanting to be left alone. The insanely DOPE music video for “Mood”, which finds Missingno. dressed like Pikachu, was shot at Highland Square in Akron, and was directed by Jack Stern.
