LA Alt-Pop Band Crimson Apple Releases Their New Single/Video "Somebody"

Crimson Apple, made up of four sisters (Colby, Shelby, Carthi and Faith Benson), have built up quite a buzz over the past year. Following their move from Hawaii to LA, they signed with Amuse Group (Perfume, BABYMETAL and ONE OK ROCK), released a prior single “Can’t Get Out of Bed,” which was lauded by Refinery 29, and landed spots on the High School Nation Tour. Currently, they’re working on a new EP, which will follow up their debut album “Hello”. There’s no doubt that these four girls will become pop music stalwarts with this upcoming release.

Crimson Apple’s new single/video “Somebody,” was co-written and produced with the esteemed Japanese producer, Satoru Hiraide, creating a unique blend of American pop and Japanese rock-influenced sounds. The video is just as intoxicating as Colby Benson’s powerhouse vocals, and you can feel the girls’ playful energy through every beat. It’s reminiscent of Little Mix, Dua Lipa and Zara Larsson, and combines pop, electronic beats, infectious guitar riffs and an undeniable chemistry that only the Benson sisters can deliver.
