LA Based Hip-Hop Group New Plague Radio Drop Their Latest Single/Video "Devil Come, Devil Go"

Hip Hop group New Plague Radio new song and video

Genre-bending Hip Hop group New Plague Radio is back on DCWS with the chaotic, stomping new single “Devil Come, Devil Go”, their first original music since releasing their critically acclaimed debut EP “The Beeswax” (stream HERE) earlier this year.

“Devil Come, Devil Go” accompanies a music video directed by singer-guitarist Donovan Wolfington, who also produced the song from the band’s Los Angeles apartment. The video takes us through a late night blackjack game gone wildly awry, all while haunted mandolins lay the sonic backdrop to rapper Chief Redeye’s brilliantly dense and imaginative verses (travelled down an avenue/lacking in ample altitude/massive handles of Absolut/rattling in the back of a wagon with loose Allen screws). By the time the song hits its double-time crescendo, you’ll be hollering right along and scrambling for the replay button.

Constantly reimagining what it means to be Hip Hop, New Plague Radio is nothing if not endlessly imaginative. By treating every musical idea as fair game, they have built a sound that is totally unpredictable and yet wholly and cohesively their own. Pushing every boundary, rewriting every rule, New Plague Radio is undoubtedly one of the most exciting new faces in Hip Hop.

New Plague Radio can be found on all your favorite social media @Newplagueradio and their new single “Devil Come, Devil Go’, as well as all their past releases, can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, and everywhere else you listen to music.
