Jostaberry is a new project from Bellingham, WA musician Bruce Hamilton, who is known for his work as modern classical, electroacoustic, and microtonal composer/improviser; as well as his beat-based electronic music as Skiks.

New to DCWS is Jostaberry’s “Mountain Song”, the second music video from his debut album “Greener Grass”, which just came out on Tangy Citrus Records. The album is a 50-minute swim through contrasting experimental rock and pop zones, a collection of lo-fi songs unified by subterranean musical and lyrical ideas.

The “Mountain Song” single itself is a kind of psychedelic dreamgaze song with impressionistic lyrics, and for the visual, Bellingham animator Ryan Rothaus has created a surrealistic swirl that shifts between natural imagery and abstraction, heightening its moods and intensities.
