Dre A.M. Shines in His Self-Directed New Music Video For "Break The Chains"
/“Break The Chains” is the brand new single from 22 year old Queens based rap artist Dre A.M., produced by zero610. The track is Dre’s first release back from his three month hiatus, and after his debut album “Bad Kid, GOOD City”, which was released on May 20th, garnering over 30,000 streams.
The track itself blends elements of pop and hip hop, with a sound is reminiscent of the production done by Timbaland in the early 2000's such as “Dirt Off Your Shoulder”, and his work with Justin Timberlake.
Inspired by a long stretch of writer's block, in “Break The Chains”, Dre writes about his inability to come up with a new concept, which ironically creates an entirely new song concept.
Speaking on concept, “Break The Chains” is accompanied by a very DOPE music video that Dre directed himself. Watch it right now, stream it on your preferred music service and connect with Dre on his social media.
