Detroit YB Shares His Brand New Music Video For "Shift My Energy"

Atlanta based rap artist Detroit YB is back on DCWS with another visual to his song “Shift My Energy” off of his latest album "Beauty in The Struggle". This visual is much more special than any of his other ones because not only is the message powerful and insightful to the audience capturing it but he made this a dedication to a friend that did a powerful spoken word interlude on the album, and for this exact song, but ended up passing away a day after 2020 Christmas leaving a husband and 2 little boys.

YB starts off with an interview talking about the release of this debut album then goes straight into his friend and what she meant not only to him but everybody she came in contact with. The message in the record describes "shifting your energy" when you're down and out or want to give up on life because things may not be going your way. Basically stating don't make a permanent decision from a temporary situation.

The “Shift My Energy” film/music video was filmed and directed by J.CrumpOriginal films and the producer for the track is DB The Plug Beats.
