DaeShawn Forrest Returns With His Brand New Single/Video "Walk Away", Feat. Raechelle T. Forrest

Hip hop artist and producer DaeShawn Forrest is back on DCWS with his latest single, “Walk Away”. The song is a part of the forthcoming album, “Transparent 2”, which is scheduled to be released during the summer. This is his second single from the album and it is a continuation of the story which he told on his last single which was released in March, “A Moment’s Time”. In “A Moment’s Time” DaeShawn told the story of the end of his previous relationship just months before what would have been his wedding day.
“It felt necessary to continue telling my story. I found the toughest part of losing someone is having to move on from them. And since there were big plans for the future, it felt like I had to start over before I really even had a chance to get started,” stated the artist.
DaeShawn attacks the record from a passionate and raw place and teams back up again with R&B influenced singer, Raechelle T. Forrest, who was featured on his last single “A Moment’s Time”.
“This song is me at my rawest and most emotional. I was heartbroken. More than anything else, I felt stuck and I was faced with the hard reality that I had no choice but to move on,” explained Forrest.
The single and its accompanying music video represent real-world storytelling that reflects the lives of many people throughout the world.
The 22-year-old San Francisco Bay Area native produced the single and co-directed the music video with Brandon Orozco.
