Columbia, SC Based Artist JSmiling Shares His New Single/Video "numb"

Jsmiling is a 21 year old independent musician/singer-songwriter from Columbia, SC who has always enjoyed music and singing but didn’t really start writing and making music until after his first breakup. Over the years he learned that making music was the best mode of expression for his feelings considering the fact he was a bit of a loner growing up and kept to himself. Making song after song furthermore pushes Jsmiling as he grows both as a person and artist.

JSmiling has just released the music video for his song “numb”, which was directed by Javonte Rice. “numb” is the first single off his upcoming 6-track EP entitled "Low Expectations", set to release October 8th.

Speaking about the song itself, JSmiling says “It is about the feeling of constantly being disappointed and let down by people to the point where it no longer affects me and is to be expected. I wrote it around a trivial time in life so it reflects how I felt then and how it has changed me as a person. I wrote, composed, and produced this song all on my own”.
