Fresh on the DCWS scene is Detroit bred, New Orleans based alternative R&B artist ClemonsAndCo, who draws influences from artists like Iman Omari, Dwele and Frank Ocean. He hopes to transform the way listeners categorize musicians by incorporating different elements into his music.

Speaking about his music, ClemonsAndCo says "My music is R&B at its heart but I like to incorporate elements from different genres and instruments to make listeners drift to somewhere they've never been sonically. I also like to talk a little sh*!"

ClemonsAndCo recently released his single/video "Water", which is the follow up to his previous single "Jus Sayin." The track is bass heavy but incorporates Hawaiian instruments. The song is produced by Nashville's Sir Illington and captures the artist singing to a lover about the rewards of matching his sexual energy.

The “Water” visual features Lei of Nude Vanity, a content curation company that specializes in seductive visuals. She writhes and wiggles around the New Orleans Shot-gun home. ClemonsAndCo sets the scene by singing and popping into visual occasionally.

We’re really digging ClemonsAndCo’s mellow, and impactful new song and clip, and we bet that you will as well, especially if you are a fan of Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, or The Internet.
