Chicago-Based Lulu Be. Gets Magical for “Still Rude” Music Video
/Lulu Be. is thrilled to announce the release of her debut music video for her track “Still Rude.” The song, written and produced by Lulu Be., plays off her first song release "Rude Tings" that made unexpected waves back in 2015. “Still Rude” is the first single from her forthcoming EP BOMBSHELTER which is expected to drop at the top of 2019.
The video goes along with Lulu Be.’s running theme of magical mystic queen and rude gyal attitude. Lulu Be. performs in various colorfully lit scenes meditating around candles, mobbing with her girl gang, and posing in spooky neon face masks. In another scene Lulu Be. portrays a psychic medium reminiscent to a Ms. Cleo ad with the number 1-800-GLO-BABY below the screen, referencing a track off her EP LULULAND. The video also features dancers voguing and whining dancehall style over the vibrant afro-house track.
“Still Rude” video was directed by RIBKA, produced by Tezeru Teshome, and filmed by Alexis Hithe and Geoff Palomino.
