Atlanta Rock Band glimmers Share the Music Video For the Acoustic Version of "Not Good At Goodbyes"
/Atlanta-based rock band glimmers is excited to share an emo Valentine’s Day gift in the form of an acoustic version of their song “Not Good At Goodbyes” featuring Nick Pena of lostbody. The single comes from the band’s new EP Worlds Apart, due out April 23rd via Common Ground Collective.
“In honor of Valentine’s Day, we decided to release an acoustic version of our latest single ‘Not Good at Goodbyes,’” says vocalist Maggie Schneider. “When we were first producing this song, we thought this track could go one of two ways: a full band anthem or an emo acoustic ballad. Since I wrote the song on my acoustic guitar in my bedroom, we thought it would be fun to show both sides of this story. We really hope people connect with it!”
“No Good at Goodbyes” was originally released alongside the first in a series of cinematic music videos that follow a couple through the highs and lows of a relationship. The track would sound right at home in a coming-of-age movie, telling the story of a relationship on the brink of collapse.
“We decided to create a music video for each of the songs to follow this story, with each piece connecting to each other as the next episode of the relationship,” shares Schneider. “Altogether, all five music videos create a short film, inspired by our favorite 90s and 2000s romance movies.”
