In her own words about the clip, Lilly says, “I wanted to do a song that would comfort listeners. That’s when I came up with “I Know”. I wanted to comfort people who are feeling lost and let them know that they aren’t alone. Everyone goes through trials and tribulations especially with friends and relationships. “I Know” is written in a way that it sounds like I’m talking directly to the listener. Less talking about me and more talking about what the listener is going through. Sometimes we just need someone there to talk us through things and not everybody has that. “I Know” is such a relatable song and gives off a calming vibe. I know people are out here going through things and feel like they want to give up at times, but hopefully my music will reach them and give them that little boost of confidence they need to get through it. Unfortunate things happen to everyone and that’s life, but sometimes knowing you aren’t alone can make it that much easier to cope.”
