UK Singer-Songwriter Rosita Shares Her DOPE New Song "Masterpiece"

Rising UK artist, Rosita, showcases her incredible vocal and songwriting abilities in her brand new single ‘Masterpiece’, building on her progressive and mesmerising discography so far. Lyrically expressing the story of her resilience and strength of character, Rosita composes an admirable narrative that is both empowering and beautifully personal. Inspired by the talents of many prodigious songstresses including Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Ariana Grande, and more recently, H.E.R and Jorja Smith, each of their influences are audible in Rosita’s soulful, velvety style, as she blends the familiar with the unique, putting her own stamp on old-school R&B sounds.

Discussing the meaning behind the track, Rosita said: “This song was all about confidence and self love for me, being able to learn to love myself and not care about people’s unsolicited opinions. Knowing that struggle was only temporary, and that no matter what I'd soon bounce back.”

Originating from Gloucestershire, Rosita has had an impressive impact on the city, performing at Gloucester Rooftop Festival, Wychwood Festival and Gloucester Guildhall, supporting Lucy Spraggan, as well as appearing on their BBC Radio Station numerous times. Having already released 2 studio EPs ‘Hourglass’ and ‘No Pressure’, Rosita has demonstrated her ability to independently create solid bodies of astounding work.

With further appearances on BBC Introducing and BBC Merseyside, followed by her spectacular performances in several venues such as Deaf Institute, Birmingham Symphony Hall and NEC Birmingham, Rosita has confidently developed the ability to enthrall audiences from home turf and beyond. Rosita’s previous release ‘3 AM’ and her brand new track ‘Masterpiece‘ showcase her fearless character and the sensational potential she holds as an artist.
