UK Folk Singer Claudia Fenoglio Returns With the Dreamy New Song "Forever"

Claudia Fenoglio is back with a new single entitled ‘Forever’, the third single ahead of her debut EP. The track feels like a warm hug, with elements of both melancholy and beauty in connection. Claudia’s signature sound of the growing UK folk scene shines through once again, with gentle drums, wistful guitars and her unique, dreamy, heartfelt vocals. The track builds gorgeously throughout, culminating in a wall of sound, with gritty synths and layers of vocals expanding the texture, embracing the themes of overwhelm that the track is based around. It’s another great single that will only build up more anticipation for the EP.
On her new single, Claudia shares:
“Forever is about being in my own head too much and not being able to leave. I think when I get sad or hurt, I tend to get an overwhelming fear that things won’t ever change again- that was the inspiration. The song also includes the title line of the EP, which relates to how songwriting is a reflection of how you feel in the present.”
Claudia Fenoglio is an artist that is on track to become a leading figure in her scene, genre pushing sounds with incredible instrumentation and vocals, she crafts herself a seat at the table, taking elements from multiple styles. Fenoglio envisions a sound that balances the dichotomy of intimate and familiar, ethereal and otherworldly. After moving to Leeds to study Film and Photography in 2018, Claudia has been looking back on her life to create retrospective and introspective tracks, with ‘19 Again’ and ‘Like It Never Was’ appealing to fans and tastemakers. Her further releases have been backed by BBC Introducing, BBC6 Music and Youth Music.
Claudia is setting herself up to have a career-defining year in 2023, holding her fans in anticipation, she creates a space of relatability in music that brings a refreshing new style to UK music.
