Toronto's Rimy Low Key Unleashes Caribbean Dancehall and "808s & Heartbreaks" Influenced "Never Forget"
/Rimy Low Key is a Toronto based singer-songwriter and producer who just released his latest single 'Never Forget', produced by Akeel Henry. The song is the first follow up since the release of his debut EP 'Fall in Numb' (stream/download below) in June of this year. 'Never Forget' is a collaborative effort between Rimy Low Key and Akeel inspired by the new wave of Caribbean dancehall budding in music the past year combined with electric soul reminiscent of Kanye's moody heartthrob '808s & Heartbreak'.
About Rimy Low Key: Hailing from Toronto, Rimy Low Key is a singer-songwriter and producer
intent on showing a different side of the city. Growing up influenced by artists like Kanye West and Lil Wayne, Rimy Low Key began recording music in his spare time within the suburbs of Toronto. Eventually these early demos started to make a name for the young R&B singer and
found their way into the hands of up and coming Toronto producers Akeel Henry and Adam Josh. Teaming up with the duo, Rimy Low Key created his debut EP ‘Fall in Numb’. With the release of the project in June, things are looking bright for the newest addition to the roster of Toronto talent making waves in the industry.
