The Keymakers Release Their First Song of 2021, "Lost Along the Way"
/Los Angeles-based electronic artists, The Keymakers, are back with their first release of 2021. Brothers Rome and Red released ‘Lost Along the Way’ at the end of January to kick off what is shaping up to be a big year for the duo.
The new single shows off how the two maintain the dynamic nature that drives their music as they continue to shape their sound through diverse inspirations and influences. With a long background in Electronic music, Red used to DJ college parties and shows. Rome, the older of the two, used to play saxophone in a jazz band and sing R&B. Both of these developmental journeys have helped inform the genre-morphing sound they continue to tap into with each new release.
Speaking about 'Lost Along the Way', Rome said: “Sometimes when you learn to embrace the lack of control and seek comfort in uncertainty, you find yourself exactly where you’re meant to be. We wrote this song with those times in mind.”
“We wanted to say something with this track,” Red adds. “It’s important to remember that - even when we’re continually trying to find ourselves - it’s okay to get a little lost sometimes.”
