Stwo Enlists Jeremih for DOPE New Single "Neither Do I"
/Toronto via Paris artist Stwo has just released a new single "Neither Do I" featuring Jeremih, which is available across all digital platforms now via Ultra Music. Stwo (pronounced "stew") has come a long way since initially garnering the attention of many when he released his track "Loving U" in 2014, which has amassed over 40 million streams on SoundCloud and Spotify in the years since then. The Paris-born producer, whose birth name is Steven Vidal, grew up playing piano and bass guitar, which evolved into producing music at the age of 18. "Neither Do I" finds him employing his skills as a producer and multi-instrumentalist to the fullest: where less seasoned producers might be tempted to chase an overt pop formula when paired with Jeremih, Stwo has created a beautiful, minimal sonic bed that leaves plenty of room for Jeremih's voice to shine.
After acquainting himself with fellow Canadian-based producer Kaytranada and his manager, he joined the roster at HW&W Recordings in 2015, followed by supporting Snakehips and Sango on American and European tours. He released a beat tape titled 92, inspired by Drake's Nothing Was The Same, and subsequently signed a publishing deal with OVO40. His EP D.T.S.N.T. (Down To Say Nice Things) separated him from a wave of SoundCloud remixers and established his name as a producer, with his most popular track being "Haunted," featuring melancholic vocals from singer Sevdaliza. In addition to releasing his EP in 2016, he most recently lent his producing skills for tracks "Lose You" and "Get It Together" on Drake's 2017 project More Life as well as "Unity" on Frank Ocean's visual album Endless.
