Singer-Songwriter/Producer JRtheBand Shares His Latest Song "Blind Eye Beholder"

We are stoked to introduce the DCWS audience to JR, a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer for his project JRtheBand. Folks willing to look beneath the surface will realize JR's lyrics tell stories about complex human emotions and experiences. JR's mission is to find common ground and keep rock alive, by channeling a diverse and eclectic range of influences to do it.

JRtheBand recently released his latest single “Blind Eye Beholder”, which in his own words, “is a song I wrote after a collaboration with another artist went south. I had to kiss this person's butt just to get them to show up to the studio on the days I had it booked. After months of pandering and a ton of disappointment, I finally cut ties with this person and I felt a freeing sense of relief, which I just had to express in the form of a song about the perils of pandering and the euphoria of canceling the subject of your pandering”.

JRtheBand has also dropped the official lyric video for “Blind Eye Beholder”, that tells the story of the song visually. You can watch it HERE.
