Rising Melodic Dance Artists Jack Trades and Kayrae Share New "Phantoms" Single

Rising electronic producer Jack Trades and stunning vocalist Kayrae have released their latest single, ‘Phantoms’ via Physical Presents. Jack Trades has received airplay from SiriusXM’s Liquid Todd’s #Betabpm show, iHeartRadio’s Evolution and Pitbull’s Globalization Radio. The producer has remixed songs for the likes of Feenixpawl, Late Night Alumni, Shaun Frank and Adam K & Soha.
‘Phantoms’ opens with a slow, breathy elegance as it sets the stage for an epic love song. Taking an unexpected turn to a bass-heavy, thrumming dancefloor single and another turn back towards a romantic serenade, the two artists manage to meld the unique styles into a unique, pop laden track. Exploring the autumn of a relationship and infusing the sound with a gentle familiarity, the single marks itself as one to find in a club where the dancers desperately seek to lose themselves in the beat.
Jack Trades tells us about the creation of the single: “Kayrae and myself wanted to do a follow up on “Sideways” and knew, in terms of storytelling, that we wanted to talk about the next chapter of what really happened after being in a relationship that had no future. ‘Phantoms’ is a song about going through emotions of separation and that sooner or later we’ve all got to let go of our past. The result is something very different and unique, potentially shaping the future of the “Jack Trades” sound moving forward.”
