Pop/RnB Singer Kru Drops Her New Single "For You I Would", With Sofia Silvestri

Kru’s latest single is ‘For You I Would’ an anthemic and emotional piece of music that shows an immense amount of talent within its three minute runtime. From the soft verses to momentous choruses, the instrumentation stays sparse, allowing both the twinkling piano performance from Sofia Silvestri and soaring vocal delivery to shine in full. In the final section of the track, choir-like layers of vocal harmony are put into the mix, raising the stakes once again with an almost angelic presence before the climax of the final chorus takes hold.

On the new single, Kru shares, "I really wanted to maintain the fact that this project has been written, produced, and performed by women. Bringing Sofia onto the project fulfilled that for me. Having written with her in the past and seen the way she plays the piano made me think she’d be perfect for the vibe for this song.

This song is about when you fall so in love with a person, all doubts, caution, and worries get thrown out. They are your everything. And all you can do is intensely profess that love while yearning for the same in return."

Born in Mumbai but raised in the Bay Area of California, Kru is a Pop/R&B singer whose musical influences stem from both India and the US. Classically trained in opera and traditional Indian Bharathanatyam dance, her sound has become a fusion of all her roots, laced in R&B, Pop and K-Pop. Her debut release, the ‘Pilot’ EP, was unleashed in December of 2022 and has amassed well over 1.5M streams. Now on the horizon is her follow-up EP, made in collaboration with the multi-platinum producer Cha Cha Malone (known for his work with major Kpop Artists such as Jay Park, Red Velvet and JayB), set for release in 2024.
