NYC Based Mimz The Magnificent Drops His New Track "Illusiv3", Featuring Semiratruth

21 year old Mimz The Magnificent is a multi-disciplinary musician born/raised in the Bronx. From songwriting to production, this jack of all trades is a master of lyricism, and is also a part of a underground Neo-Soul band called Fib9 (Fibonacci 9).
Being based out of NYC, Mimz has also made a name for himself in the LA/Oakland scene. Performing with the likes of Fatlip from Pharcyde, you can generally feel the taste of new and old soul brought from generations of Hip-Hop.
We stoked to share with you Mimz’ recently released, self-produced track “Illusiv3”, which features Chi Town based artist Semiratruth. Taking a psychedelic sample and turning into a gritty/soulful hip hop production, “Illusiv3” takes you on a trip lost in time.
Almost as if it was made for a game like Cyberpunk 2077, “Illusiv3” is way beyond its time while also grounding new generation sounds with calm 808s and distant hi-hats. Mimz and Semira lyrically take you on a sword swinging journey similar to Capoeira with a glitch in it.
