NYC Artist/Producer Chris Ianuzzi Releases His New Singles, "Lonesome Highway Superstar" and “Shuttles”
/NYC-based artist, composer and producer Chris Ianuzzi shuns the mainstream by releasing bold, decidedly non-mainstream music intended for the serious listener. And yet, he has a devilishly good time doing it. Chris Ianuzzi's work places on foot in early synthesizer music, IDM, industrial, ambient, glitch and techno, the other foot touching on something strange and fresh. ReGen Magazine says Ianuzzi's music 'makes the statement that he's here to revel in a new future.' Ultimately, this is headphone music at it's finest.
Chris Ianuzzi is rolling out the release of an upcoming full-length album by releasing a series of singles and double singles. He gifted us with the mysterious "Setagaya" and "Infinite Prize" on June 4th, followed by "Live In Today" and "Funtastic Hellos" on July 2nd. The visceral, industrial-tinged club-ready composition "Hunger" was released on August 6th and currently being spun by dozens of playlisters. Then Chris introduced "So Far So Near" (Parts 1 and 2) on September 3rd, featuring maniacal vocals and menacing music.
Now Chris continues releasing gems with fascinating new singles "Lonesome Highway Superstar", a raucous track where one could picture Ianuzzi roaring through a post-apocalyptic desert in Mad Max fashion, and "Shuttles", a track Chris wrote with his daughter Nina.
Enjoy this exciting new composition from one of Electronic Music's foremost innovators. This music is highly recommended for fans of Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross, Aphex Twin, Amon Tobin, Oneohtrix Point Never, Gary Numan or John Carpenter. Both tracks are being released through Chris's Satellite Symphonics label.
