Los Angeles based duo ARMNHMR

Following the announcement of phase 1 for a massive eponymous 40-stop North American headline tour, ARMNHMR release “Drowning”, feat. Heleen”, the first single from the album ‘Together As One’ due this year on Monstercat. A first listen into the duo’s newfound production approach, “Drowning” blends live instruments and their signature melodic bass stylings with Heleen’s weightless vocals helming the track. With lyrics reflecting on anxiety, a topic often unspoken within the realm of dance music, the single has all the makings of a powerful, heartfelt anthem. Flexing ARMNHMR’s dynamic musicality, “Drowning” introduces the forthcoming album’s theme that highlights the human experience as a whole.

ARMNHMR shares, “‘Drowning’ is a song about the fear of change. Sometimes we expect a sequence of events to play out perfectly, or unexpectedly, like some film script. Oftentimes it doesn’t. It’s about the anxiety we deal with after a sudden change.”

ARMNHMR returns to Monstercat fresh from the success of their 2022 EP ‘Waiting for Love,’ which amassed over 16.8 million streams since release. The duo have continuously dominated the live dance circuit with multiple headline tours throughout their career, and will kick off their ‘Together As One’ phase 1 20-stop run with their biggest headline show to date at Observatory Festival Grounds in Santa Ana on April 1st in front of more than 6,000 fans. Encapsulating their reinspired direction on the album, they’ll bring a brand new experience with never-before-seen visuals and bigger production that fans can catch at venues and festivals including The Factory in Dallas, New City Gas in Montreal, Tomorrowland in Belgium, Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge in June, and more.
