Born from a serendipitous encounter involving a guitar sample from platinum producer James Angus (Last Dinosaurs, Example, The Veronicas), “Still Want U” is Ivana's best work to date showcasing emotive storytelling and her commitment to writing breathtaking melodies.
"Still Want U" began its journey on a songwriting trip to Brisbane with James Angus and Platinum accredited songwriter Brooke Toia. Upon hearing the aforementioned sample, Ivana was immediately drawn to the emotional potential of the melody, envisioning a song that is heartfelt in its simplicity. In the studio, the collaboration with James and Brooke solidified the decision to keep the production crisp and clear, allowing the story and lyrics to take centre stage.
