Mahogany Marie - Way Back

Following her last release, “Kick Back”, Mahogany Marie goes “Way Back” to dive into various styles and themes in her newest single. This release is the first release from her sophomore EP due out later this year.

In Mahogany's new song, Mahogany wanted to make music that was timeless and could reach almost anyone, with its mix of acoustic and modern RnB elements. The song touches upon some moments of her personal life, growing up in a low income yet very strict household, as she aims to relate to care free days when life was easier. In the song, she bumps into an old friend and reminisces on times when music touched you and told so many stories. She hopes her song can make everyone remember the best times of their life too and makes new memories of their own.
