Lenny Zenith Connects With The Revolver on New Electronic Dance Track "Lost in Space"

Is this the unlikeliest collaboration between two musicians across the globe, or what?

Pioneering indie-rocker Lenny Zenith teamed up with a young, mysterious Indian DJ/composer known only as 'The Revolver' for a sexy cool, electronic dance track titled "Lost In Space."

An implausible collaboration and friendship occurred after these two gentlemen met on-line in an EDM collaboration board. The duo agreed to set about finishing the instrumental the The Revolver had written.

Zenith wrote the lyrics, melody and added the vocals at James Pertusi's Whelping Box (Ditty Committee, Perry Serpa, d.b. reilly) studio. The final song was mixed and mastered by notable NYC EDM composer/producer Justin Mathews (Motor Motor) who has worked with artists such as Tiqo and Queen Najia among others.

Because he is still finishing his studies, all we know about The Revolver is his name--Shreyash and that he lives in Mumbai, India. He's pursuing very difficult course-work for the time being -- "I'm still learning how to make music and getting a chance to collaborate with a legendary rock artist is just crazy! Getting a chance to work with someone who has put years into making music is amazing!" he says. Shreyash says making music always helps him get rid of stress.

He started producing music at the age 15 when he first heard "Animal" by Martin Garrix. He's never released any songs but always hoped to one day be signed by a label like Monstercat etc. If you're gonna dream, DREAM BIG!

While outside of Zenith's usual 'indie rock' wheelhouse, he says he really enjoys EDM and the duo plan on collaborating more and possibly releasing an entire album as time allows. Zenith filmed the video with help of renowned NYC photographer Eva Mueller, and edited it himself to give it the goofy 80s 'cable access' vibe.

Lenny Zenith released his debut solo album (What If The Sun) on XYYX Records in June of 2018 to wide acclaim and was written up in Paste, Billboard, Atwood Magazine, and Pop Matters among other blogs and zines. Lenny, a transgender pioneer, has opened for Iggy Pop, U2 and Gang of Four in the past.

Lenny says, "I really hope to meet Shreyash one day, shake his hand and thank him in person for such a great track!"
