Honduran-Canadian artist and producer, Daniela Andrade, shares the slick downtempo RnB groove of "Ayayai." Produced by Gray Rowan (Charlotte Day Wilson, The WAYO), "Ayayai" is the second track from her forthcoming EP, “Tamale” (out Oct 25th), which follows on the heels of its lead single, "Wet Dreams."

Drawing on her Honduran heritage, Daniela’s new song finds her writing in Spanish for the first time whilst once again demonstrating a knack for smooth-as-butter sonics informed by soul and syrupy electronica. Often translated as a form of expression alluding to dismay, frustration or confusion, Daniela casts the phrase "ayayai" in a different light, this time with an anticipating narrative in mind.

"This expression has always been difficult to translate for me as it can be used in different senses," she explains. "For this song, I wanted to portray that feeling of when you look at someone across a room and play out how things may go down."
