Gangsta Boo Returns With Asian Doll and Cuban Doll For "Where Dem Dollas At (Remix)"

You might have heard of Gangsta Boo. She was the infamous sole female member of Three Six Mafia, and one of the baddest OGs in the rap game before Nicki Minaj sprayed her bubble gum vibes all over the place. In 2018, Gangsta Boo is back and badder than ever, with more babes on deck for a remix of her classic track “Where Dem Dollas At.”
Fortunately, she didn’t recruit Nicki for this one and instead opted for too emerging female artists on the rap-scape: Cuban Doll and Asian Doll, the princesses following in the footsteps of Gangsta Boo, one of the crowning matriarchs of rap.
This X-rated remix revs the track to present day with its timeless beat and is feeding into the female revolution that’s going down this year. It reminds us of the original female power posses that used to be composed of gems such as Eve, Trina, Da Brat, and MC Lyte. In a world of dozens deep dude squads such as OVO, we’re ready to throw some estrogen in the mix.
Cuban Doll is a rapper from Dallas known for her slick tunes and hot pink locks who blends the modern worlds of gangster rap like Gangsta Boo was known for, with the mainstream approachability of Cardi B. Asian Doll is another Texas rapper known for her 2016 mixtape “Dripping in Glo”.
It looks like Boo is gathering an army of Southern hood belles that don’t take shit from anybody, and we’re looking forward to it way more than Taylor Swift’s confused posse of hungry models.
This track is a call for liberation and a downright dirty summer jam that we hope to hear played on block parties for the next few months. We hope this is just the beginning of a Gangsta Boo comeback and hope to see more power female collaborations (Remy Ma, that’s you!)
