DOPEST Song of the Week: "Lobby" by Alexis Lynn, Featuring Malaynah

Our new DOPEST Song of the Week comes from soulful RnB pop vocalist Alexis Lynn with her new song, "Lobby," featuring special guest rising hip-hop star Malaynah. The song, available on all digital platforms, will also be featured on Alexis' debut EP “Things Get Good” due out on September 27.
"The inspiration behind this single is being tired of playing games with someone and wanting them to be straight up with you," Alexis explains. "Basically, step up and show me how you really feel or forget it."
"Lobby" was co-written with songwriters Hoops and Rhett Fisher and was produced by Joe Crow. It's the latest in a series of single releases which has led up to the release of the forthcoming 7-song EP. The unabashed sensual number "Worst Behavior," the reggae-infused burner "Things Get Good," as well as the powerfully defiant anthem "Not This Time" released earlier this year continue to gain traction on Spotify and increasing views for the music videos at YouTube.
"I'm so incredibly excited and nervous at the same time for the EP," Alexis shares. "I feel like I've had a lot to say over the past few years and a lot of it comes out on the EP. It's pretty personal for me which is one of the things I love so much about music, but it can also be really nerve wracking to share such an intimate part of yourself with the internet/world. I'm just so proud of the body of work and I can't wait for everyone to hear it."
