DJDS Enlists Empress Of for Cover of Lana Del Rey's "Love"

After releasing the two biggest singles of their career to date in June's "Trees On Fire" featuring Amber Mark and Marco McKinnis and August's "Why Don't You Come On" featuring 2018 Grammy-nominated Best New Artist Khalid and Empress Of, DJDS are back to share a cover of "Love" by Lana Del Rey.

Enlisting Empress Of once more, DJDS turn Del Rey's ballad into something decidedly more dancefloor-friendly without sacrificing the emotional depth of the original. Speaking to the impetus to cover the song in the first place, DJDS shares that "the idea to do this cover came recently when we were spending some time in the studio with Empress Of helping her out with her new music. The three of us really love Lana's work and share a special appreciation for the song 'Love.' There's a story about LA in there that pulled us all in. We just wanted to try our own version, put our sound in it and pay tribute to a piece of work that really inspired us this year."
