From growing up listening to his mom's 80's records, getting caught in the nostalgia of John Mayer and Norah Jones, and nurturing an obsession with hip-hop, DANE draws inspirations from many spheres and eras of music, both old and new. This deep appreciation has led to him creating and connecting sounds that hold true to what he loves and how the music makes him feel.
Doing everything himself, including producing, recording, mixing and mastering, DANE touches 100% of what he makes and that is why he feels the end product is so personal and representative of his emotions and sensibilities.
