About OACE of SPADES:

"I want them to feel passion mixed with versatility and originality!"

OACE's love for music started out like many artists....getting that spark from their parents, in this case, his mother.  "I got into music because of my Mom.  She let me pick out Hip-Hop magazines and bought me music from Willie's Music Store in Durham, NC."  That is where he listened to and learned about Underground and Mainstream Hip-Hop and R and B.  OACE's early influences were from the many talented MC's that came from Queensbridge, an area in Queens, NY and down South with the likes of Masta P, Pastor Troy, T.I. and Jeezy.  Some artists that sparked OACE to become a MC were Nas, Cormega, Mobb Deep and Ghostface Killah.

"My name originally stems an Oasis concept.  I felt like the Hip-Hop game was dry and needed to be refreshed...needing to draw crowds from all different types of places.  That evolved and became O.A.C.E, with the attempt to crush everything as my level of creativity grew as an artist. Being involved in the local scene, the Ace of Spades was added."

OACE of Spade's style comes from ideas that were developed real life pain and glory.  It is different and revolutionary, full of struggle and spiritual awakening and has overall street consciousness. He can go into topics and genres of music that may be different that what people are used to.  He is on a mission to make sure that the MC in Hip-Hop with get credit for being innovative.

OACE has worked with Jozeemo, Joshua Gunn, Hiromen Bipp and Mark Steele just to name a few. Some artists that he would like to collaborate with are Roc Marciano, Nas, Cormega, Ransom, Lloyd Banks and Vinny Paz.  As far as producers, OACE would like to work with Mad Lib, Rza, Cardiak, Shorty Red, Zetoven, The Dream and Ryan Leslie.  J Dilla (RIP) would have been included in this list.

"When people hear my music, I want them to feel innovation,  a refreshing form of the art and heart felt lyrics. I want them to feel passion, mixed with versatility and originality".
