Calgary Hip-Hop Artist Lyrique Releases His DOPE New Single "Pressure"
/Edward Que is a Calgary based Hip-Hop artist, originally from the Philippines, who goes by the name Lyrique. His music has been featured on COMPLEX and is on rotation on MTV Asia as well as being played on CBC's Radio Q, performed at TEDxYYC at the Jack Singer Hall and also performed at the One Love Music Festival. In addition, Lyrique is set to perform at this year’s K-Days Music Festival main stage in Edmonton.
Lyrique recently released the Lucas Depetti produced single “Pressure” to fill the space until he drops his project, “Saints in the Summer”. In his own words about the song, Lyrique says, “I wrote this track as I want to express how much pressure artists feel to please people via social media and new releases. I think artists feel pressure and use that pressure to create art or breakdown”.
