Australian pop singer-songwriter Jeffrey Chan returns to DCWS with his brand new single “Try”. This retro-tinged pop ballad is Jeffrey’s first co-production single with acclaimed New York producer Dibs (Carly Rae Jepsen, Melanie Martinez). The new single explores a retro-pop sound under a modern lens - with its 80s inspired lead synth and the “heart on your sleeve” lyrics. Together both creatives crafted an anthemic track that explores unique retro soundscapes that push the pop ballad genre.
“Try” comes off the back of Jeffrey’s most recent single, “Glow”, which was released to critical acclaim, and quickly cemented itself as a fan favourite; amassing over 100k streams in just a few months.
